Pentecost and More 2008

Last Sabbath, the churches in the Cayman Islands Conference, joined the rest of churches in West Indies Union, to celebrate the first Sabbath of the year. This day was dedicated to Prayer and Fasting, throughout the Union territory. The event was part of the spiritual preparation for Pentecost and More 2008. The Fasting and Prayer day was organized by Pastor Wesley Nyack, Prayer Coordinator for our Conference.

Pentecost and More is an Evangelistic initiative, of the Seventh-day Adventist church in the Inter-American Division, of which the Cayman Islands forms a part. On March 15, 2008 we want to see Pentecost repeated, as we witness thousands accepting Jesus Christ, as their Savior in Baptism. Do your part, so Pentecost can be repeated!

All elected church officers met last Sunday morning, at the George Town church, for the Annual Church Officers Work- shop. These officers met with their Conference Counterpart, to receive instructions and relevant information pertaining to their office, and the Conference’s programs for 2008.
