Adventist Youth Represents Cayman JULY 28, 2007

Rosworth McLaughlin, Jr. a member of the Savannah Adventist Church, will be representing the Cayman Islands at the Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) in Washington D.C. from July 22nd to August 2nd.  The GYLC is a special leadership development program that brings together outstanding young persons from around the world, to build critical leadership skills in a global context.  Young persons, who have done well academically and otherwise in high school, are chosen to attend this conference.    Ros will have the privilege to meet top business leaders, scholars, leading journalists, policy makers, diplomats, etc.   He will also have the privilege to take part in debates on international issues, such as Global Warming, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Human Rights abuses, etc.
