Last weekend the Community Services department, of the Savannah church, supported by the Pathfinder Club, held a banquet for senior citizens in the Savannah district.  This event was held at the Savannah Primary School.

Last Sabbath, at a Community Guest Day program, held at the Adventist church in Savannah; three residents of that district were honored. Mrs. Andrea Bryan, Mrs. Adora Bodden-Groome (in absentia) and Mrs. Lorna Blackman, were honored for their outstanding contributions to the Cayman Islands.  Among the guests, was the Hon. Anthony Eden, J P, OBE- Minister of Health and Mr. Osbourne Bodden, MLA for Bodden Town.  Pastor Michael Smith, Executive Secretary of the North Bahamas Mission, was the guest speaker on that day.  What an inspiring message was presented!
