The month of May has been designated as one dedicated to the child. The Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Cayman Islands has indorsed this position for several years. Children are some of the most vulnerable to abuse in society today.
Therefore, the church must keep its defense of children in the forefront. Jesus cared and defended children; we should not do otherwise. The Children Ministries department of our Conference, under the leadership of Mrs. Cereta McDonald coordinated several seminars for our members to sensitize the church of the challenges children are facing today. The month ended with a joint service last Sabbath, where the children were featured.
